How to Get to Montenegro

Montenegro has small airports in Podgorica and Tivat, however the flights here are typically very expensive. The best option to get to Montenegro would be to fly into Dubrovnik, rent a car and drive to Montenegro from there. You can get from Dubrovnik to Kotor in about 2 hours.

Where to Stay in Montenegro

I recommend staying in Kotor which was my favorite city in Montenegro. If you have a rental car, try to find accommodation with parking included so that you don’t have to pay more for parking. We stayed in Apartments Kordic, located in Kotor just a few minutes outside of the Old City. We loved this comfortable apartment with beautiful views of the Bay of Kotor and parking included.
